Fairbanks Genealogical Society

was established on May 9, 1973, to organize and support individuals in the

Fairbanks area interested in genealogy research. Its mission is to provide

assistance to others with ancestry in Alaska and to locate, preserve, and

make genealogical and historical sources available for future generations.

This web site has been established as part of that mission.
